Himaja is a candidate for a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Health Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a National Council Member and Co-Chair for UNA Women at the United Nations Association of the United States of America, and interned for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in 2019. She also won the BOLD Women’s Leadership Network scholarship and was nominated for the Marshall, Truman, and Udall Scholarships at the University of Connecticut, where she graduated with a triple bachelor’s degree: Physiology & Neurobiology (BS), Molecular & Cell Biology (BS), and Sociology (BA).
Saniya Shah

Saniya is CEO and Co-Founder of Pilota, a machine learning platform that predicts the risk of disruption associated with air travel flights. She was named by Forbes as one of the 13 Female Game Changers of the Travel Industryand is an associate at the Big Red Venture Fund, an early stage VC fund operated by graduate students at Cornell University. She graduated as a Merit Scholar and Fort Fellow, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell Tech.
Kartik Shastri

Kartik was the Co-Founder & Head of Product at FillMyFork, a nutrition wellness product that was acquired by Series B startup Zipongo, which he started with fellow TYE alumni Arun Nijhawan. He graduated with a BA in Economics & Asian Studies and a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from Cornell University, where he went on to complete his Master of Engineering as well. Fun fact: Kartik was also the captain of the Cornell Bhangra team, which he led to compete in the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent.
Arun Nijhawan

Arun founded Remedy Health, a therapy program for chronic pain. He also started FillMyFork, a nutrition wellness product that was acquired by Series B startup Zipongo, with fellow TYE alumni Kartik Shastri. There, he went on to lead data science and guide product vision. He has previously judged and mentored the Big Ideas competition for Global Health business plans at UC Berkeley and has been covered in broadcast outlets around the world, including the Wall Street Journal, MobiHealthNews, and of course, TiE Boston. He earned a lifetime membership award from the Woodsworth College Students Association at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with honors in Physics and Astrophysics (BS).
Aneri Soni

Aneri is a candidate for her doctoral degree in Neuroscience at Brown University, where she is co-mentored by Thomas Serre and Michael Frank. She also tutored elementary students through the REACH tutoring program and currently does neuroscience outreach at local schools in Providence. Aneri was a Torch and Laurel Mentor for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and graduated from Cornell University with a double bachelor's degree in Psychology (BS) and Math (BS).
