This summer, two young business leaders from the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Boston program—Sarada Koppana and Reya Kannan—will take the stage at the Vidya Bharati USA Leadership Reception & Gala on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Burlington, MA.
Sarada and Reya’s teams recently made waves at the TYE Global Pitch Competitions, held in 2024 in Silicon Valley and in 2025 at George Mason University and Amity University in Delhi-NCR.

Washington, D.C— The future of innovation took center stage at George Mason University’s Fuse Center last week as 29 high school teams from across the globe gathered for the 2025 TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Pitch Competition. Against the backdrop of rising global challenges, these young entrepreneurs pitched powerful, purpose-driven ideas aimed at creating real-world impact.

Hate parking in Boston? Local high schoolers aim to fix problem with new prize-winning app

BOSTON — If you’ve ever driven into Boston and tried to find a parking spot, you know it can be stressful and time-consuming. A group of local high school students recognized that problem and are creating a parking app that’s already earned them a top prize from a Boston-based company.
It was born from frustration.

TiE Boston’s Aqua-Sol wins First Runner-Up at the 2023 Global Finals of TiE Young Entrepreneurs

BOSTON – At the Global Finals held in San Diego last week, TiE Boston’s Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) team , Aqua-Sol won the 1st Runner-Up Award. The team, which consists of Soham Kulkarni, Samarth Bedre, Jacob Slavsky, Anoop Rampure and Karthik Pisupati, developed a technique that uses a water distribution system to enhance solar panel efficiency and extend the lifespan of solar panels.
